Guru of Coding LLC, founded in 2019, is operated by Shamira Ervin. She has over ten years of medical experience working in various parts of the revenue cycle. Shamira received her CPC certification in 2013 and has since earned her CCS and COC certifications, as well as her instructor licenses, and is currently pursuing her CRC certification. She was the Vice President of the AAPC Stockbridge Georgia Chapter in 2021. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but has lived in Atlanta for the past 16 years. She is the proud mother of three sons. Her passion is to help others learn and enjoy coding.
