It is recommended that students be currently working in the medical field (not required). Students should be familiar with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, Modifiers, Medicare Rules and Regulations, Coding Concepts, HIPAA, Medical Terminology, and Anatomy.

Review Guru of Coding Exam Prep School course description and program fees and agree to the terms of this student contract.
Course Overview: Introduction to the CPT, Evaluation and Management, Anesthesia, Modifiers, Integumentary System, Musculoskeletal System; Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Male/Female Genital System; Maternity Care and Delivery, General Surgery I & II, Radiology, Pathology; Medicine section and Level II National Codes; Overview of the ICD-10-CM, Third Party Reimbursement Issues and Coding guidelines.

Following the completion of Steps 1-2, you will receive an electronic acceptance letter into the Guru of Coding Medical Coding Program! Finally, select a payment method. With our payment options, you can tailor your purchase to what you can afford. The purchase price is determined by the actual cost of tuition and fees. Interest is included in installment plans (price may vary depending on the payment processor you choose). When a student enrolls, he or she must pay a one-time registration fee of $675, which must be paid at least 7 days before the start of class.
